A Personal Path to Fertility Support
As a Fertility Support Practitioner (Qualifying) through the Doula Canada Association, Shannon offers thoughtful education, steady support, and compassionate care throughout your fertility journey.
Shannon’s path to fertility support is personal. After years of trying to grow her family, she explored many different resources and approaches, experienced several rounds of intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and four losses. She was also diagnosed with premature diminished ovarian reserve (DOR).
Through this deeply personal journey, Shannon became a mother to two beautiful children. Her lived experience continues to shape the compassionate, understanding support she offers to others navigating fertility, loss, and family-building.
With a diploma in Medical Office Administration and Personal Support Work, along with more than 12 years of experience in a hospital setting, Shannon understands the healthcare system from multiple perspectives. She brings firsthand knowledge of how overwhelming appointments, communication, and care coordination can feel.
Shannon is passionate about advocacy and helping people feel heard, supported, and confident that their needs are being met. Her approach is compassionate, individualized, and respectful of each person’s choices, values, and care team.
